FERPA (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act)
Personally identifiable information and/or educational records will not be released without the written consent of the student except as specified under the provisions of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). FERPA identifies specific individuals and organizations that may receive a student’s educational records under certain circumstances without prior written consent. Other than the circumstances specified in FERPA, no person or organization has a right to review a student’s education records and/or personally identifiable information without the prior written consent of the student.
One of the circumstances allowing the release of personally identifiable information without a student’s prior written consent involves information identified as public or “directory information.” 足彩胜负14场 information can be released without prior written consent provided that students are given the opportunity to prohibit the disclosure of such personally identifiable information that the institution has designated as directory information and may release without the prior written consent of the student. . All other personally identifiable information about students is considered confidential and will be treated accordingly.
